I have just started reading Gaskell and would like to find a couple good books on Wives and Daughters that help me appreciate what I'm reading, but I don't know how to find them. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you!

Jenny Uglow's book: Elizabeth Gaskell : A Habit of stories ' ( Fabers) is the best introduction and covers assessment of Wives & Daughters etc. The Everyman P/B edition has a useful introduction and reviews the book from publication onwards.
