A visit
to The Summerhouse is like stepping into an oasis of Scandinavian
calm – tongue
and groove panelling painted cream and beautiful scents set the tone.
Sara Mount created her dream of owning a shop in Knutsford in 2004
and
over the past three years has
put together a stylish collection of
unique accessories for the Home
and Garden.
Downstairs you
will find colourful array of jugs, bowls and mugs complimented by
Swedish table linens, handmade tea cosies and cream enamel cake tins
give a retro look.

 For
the outdoors Sara has ranges
of gardening tools, wasp
traps, Victorian cloches and traditional willow edging for your
borders.
On
a larger scale The Summerhouse has garden benches, tables, chairs
and for the perfect hideaway a
willow twigwam that has proved
very popular with the children over the Summer months.
On the first
floor armoires are filled with gorgeous woollen throws and linen
cushions alongside adorable baby clothes from New Zealand and crocheted
toys from The Netherlands.
Last year, The Summerhouse was delighted
to be chosen as a stockist for the renowned paint and wallpaper
suppliers FARROW & BALL, so they are now
able to offer a selection of estate emulsion, oil eggshell paints
and the full range of 132 sample pots, as well as wallpaper sample
books. Feel free to pick up a colour chart!

Summerhouse also offers a Garden
Design Service by Sara’s sister, a full member of the Society of Garden
Designers, and her achievements have been recognised by the Royal
Horticultural Society with the award of
Gold and Best in Show at
Tatton 2001. Jane can
